Plains to Peaks Collective – Colorado & Wyoming Service Hub of the DPLA

The Colorado State Library, in collaboration with the Wyoming State Library, has created a Colorado and Wyoming Service Hub of the Digital Public Library of America (DPLA). The DPLA is an online portal that brings together collection information from libraries, archives and museums from around the United States and makes it freely available to the world. Join us to learn about the Plains to Peaks Collective (PPC) technology, how you can participate in the initiative and what it can do for your institution by showcasing your unique digital collections.

Audience members will:
Learn how they can share their unique digital collections with the PPC and the DPLA
Learn about the history of the PPC and the different levels of participation
Better understand the technology that makes the PPC work, and how it interacts with the DPLA and your online collection.
Discuss what increased access to online collections means for your institution, and your community.
